United StatesBeautiful Item - Unfortunately not usable
I purchased this item for my partner for Christmas and after they opened it, the SHAKER lid's cap would NOT come off. I reached out to Viski as soon as they opened it regarding the issue and they gave me the following list of things to try: Warm Water Soak: *Fill a bowl or sink with warm (not hot) water. *Submerge the entire shaker (both the top and bottom) in the warm water for about 5-10 minutes. The heat can help loosen any residual manufacturing grease, adhesives, or just help the parts expand slightly, making it easier to separate. *Try twisting the lids gently after soaking. You may want to tap the sides of the shaker gently with a spoon to help break any vacuum seal or loosen stuck parts. Use a Rubber Grip: *Sometimes, a rubber grip (such as a silicone jar opener or a rubber band) can give you more traction when trying to unscrew or twist the lids. *Place the rubber grip or a thick rubber band around the stuck lid and twist firmly. This should help give you extra grip without damaging the shaker. Apply Tension with a Wooden Spoon or Handle: *If the lid is stuck tightly, you can use a wooden spoon handle or another blunt object to apply gentle pressure. Try to apply pressure to the rim of the lid (not the center) to see if you can release the vacuum seal. *Another option is to place a towel or cloth over the shaker for grip and then gently tap it with the handle of a spoon or other blunt object. This may help break the seal and loosen the lid. Use Cooking Oil (if needed): *If the lids are stuck due to residue, such as lubricant from manufacturing, a drop of vegetable oil, olive oil, or even a tiny bit of cooking spray around the rim of the lid can help. Use a paper towel or cloth to wipe off excess oil afterward. *Twist the lids carefully after applying the oil. The oil helps reduce friction and can make it easier to open. Try the Freezer Method (last resort): *If the lids are really stubborn, you can try freezing the shaker for 10-15 minutes. The cold temperature can cause the metal parts to contract slightly, potentially loosening the lid. *After removing it from the freezer, use the rubber grip or your hands to gently twist the lid. Be sure not to force it. _____________ It's quite wild to me that I would need to try this entire list of things as your item is faulty and isn't cheap either. After trying the above and having no luck, I reached back out to Viski and they told me that due to it being past the 30 days they couldn't refund me, but would "can offer you a gift card worth the same amount as the defective shaker". - We received the gift card, but it's truly ONLY for the shaker which at this point - We do NOT want. We loved the entire shaker set, but if the shaker is faulty then why would we want to keep the set? We love Viski products, but this entire situation has currently left a negative taste in our mouth. I would be hesititant when purchasing this set or be mindful to open it completely, test all the parts, + return it within their 30 day policy in the case that your cap too doesn't come off. This is still an ongoing conversation with the company and truly hope is resolved soon.

Everything but the shaker is great. The thing keeps getting stuck contently and especially when ice is in it. Then it's like waiting and pulling with all your might for 30 minutes plus until it finally comes apart. The strainer is also make useless do to this fact since you cant take the top off easy so you end up having to use the opening on the top which doesn't filter some particles and such good.
