It's very heavy, seems to be constructed very solid, and works very well! The reason I did not give it five stars is because the action of the lever on my old screwpull type opener that broke after 10 years was much easier, and was 180 degrees instead of the hundred or so degrees on the one. It's a little more work, but definitely worth it since the old one was not manufactured anymore.
