WATERMELON MARGARITA

Sean Briggs loves a margarita, and his take on the classic tequila cocktail brings watermelon to the forefront. Made with real watermelon and finished with a sugar rim, it's a decadent drink that’s extra delicious on a hot summer day. Make one or two for yourself, or whip up a pitcher of watermelon margs for a party—this drink is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients: (Serves 1)

  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 1 oz Orange liqueur
  • ½ oz Lime juice
  • Handful of watermelon chunks
  • Watermelon wedge for garnish
  • Sugar rim

DIRECTIONS:

Rim Double-Walled Tumblers with sugar.

Use a Double Jigger to measure, and add tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and watermelon chunks in a Shaker Tin.

Add ice and shake vigorously. Fill the glass with fresh crushed ice, made with a Lewis Ice Bag and Mallet, then strain the cocktail into the glass with a Hawthorne Strainer and garnish with a watermelon wedge.
